Character Stands are soon to be your favorite design tools! Using your own characters, or the costume designer’s renderings, you can represent your actors movements within your designs! All you have to do is scale down your characters (remember 3/4″ = a foot and the stand adds a quarter inch to the height of the character) print them out, cut them out, and slide then into the character stand. (two thicknesses of card stock works best)  Having a full set allows you to represent a full or partial cast, and check traffic patterns and overall spacing. (large period costumes will require more room to walk between the chair and pouf, just make your costume stick out past the edge of the stand the proper amount)
